Hardware Version: V1

Hello I'm already writing a 4th request for an existing issue, I haven't received any help yet. After updating the app, Tether asks for a password again when trying to connect remotely, but does not accept it. When will I get help instead of a standard reply with a useless link...?

If you have troubles setting up the router via tether app you can use this video guide.

In order to do that successfully you have to reset the device to its factory defaults - press and hold the reset button until all LEDs turn on.

If this was helpful click once on the arrow pointing upward. If this solves your issue, click once the star to mark it as a "Recommended Solution".

Whiich password do you use in tether app ? You should use your router administrative password.

To check if you enetering the correct password try login locally via web browser into your router WebGUI.

If this was helpful click once on the arrow pointing upward. If this solves your issue, click once the star to mark it as a "Recommended Solution".

I also used the password that is indicated on the wifi router itself, it does not accept it.

Tether app uses your router administrative password - not the wireless password that is printed on the bottom sticker or in the wireless settings.

You can reset the router and re-configure from scratch. Set an administrative password, write it down and then use it in the tether app.

Here's a guide which you could follow to set up your router with the tether app.

If this was helpful click once on the arrow pointing upward. If this solves your issue, click once the star to mark it as a "Recommended Solution".

@Asciavadas I can't go into its settings, only to this window, and then it asks for a password.
