Greetings everyone,

I would like to ask if it's possible to do what I describe below:

I have a modem/router AC1200 (Archer VR400) and a router AC1350 (Archer C58). I would like to connect wirelessly the 2 devices in order the Archer C58 can connect on the internet using no cables etc. Is that possible?

I tried to connect Archer C58 using WDS Settings either on the same device and on Archer VR400 but nothing happened. Tried to setup a DHCP but still nothing. The only way to connect Archer C58 on internet is only through cable, connected on Archer VR400.

If you have any workaround would appreciated it.

@Maegllin

Configuring WDS has to be done only on one of the devices - in your case C58, if you want to extend your wireless network created by VR400.

In your user guide (HW v2 and HW v1 are pretty much the same):

https://static.tp-link.com/Archer%20C58_V2_User%20Guide.pdf

https://static.tp-link.com/res/down/doc/Archer_C58(EU)_V1_UG.pdf

in the FAQ section, on the very end there's a "Q4 - How  do I use the WDS Bridging function to extend  my wireless network ?"

Follow these steps to configure WDS on C58.

You can also use this FAQ.
