Model: Archer C80
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.5.7

Just got a new Archer C80, but there's no connection. I have a Huawei HG8245H where I plugged Huawei [LAN] > TP-LINK [WAN]. I tried wizard configuration, PPPoE, Access-point. But nothing seems to work.

What could I be missing?

Sorry, my mistake. The router IP was the same as the AC1900, that's why the issue.

@userntsatisfied

Have you tried dynamic IP configuration ?

If Huawei HG8245H is in router mode, this should work, but you'll have a double NAT in your network.

If you want to avoid that the approach is to use the Huawei HG8245H in Bridge mode and C80 as a main NAT device.

The indication of a double NAT would be the C80 WAN (Internet) port IP address. If it's private then that's the case.

Another way to avoid double NAT is to configure C80 in AP mode.

Watch this video for detailed overview on how to configure your router.

If nothing else helps consider contacting your ISP for further advise on how to configure your new router.
