Firmware Version:

Hi,

I recently bought the wifi router and started experiencing frequent reboot issues with it. So to check if it can be rectified tried upgradation to

V1_200628
Since then the router is in a hung state. I tried to contact support but without any response..

Does anyone has faced similar issue and is there any solution to it?

Personally I am not able to do any sort of troubleshooting, the Wifi network doesnt show up post upgrade. All the ledsare always on and Power led is always flashing

Hello, I have just replied you in this thread:

You need to connect this C80 to your computer with an Ethernet cable first.

@Kevin_Z

hi Kevin,

thanks for ur reply. I see that my model is Archer C80(US) Ver:1.0.

I was going thru ur link to find the firmware to download and at the following link I can only find firmware for EU.
https://www.tp-link.com/in/support/download/archer-c80/#Firmware

There is also a warning at https://www.tp-link.com/in/support/faq/46/, where they says

"The firmware of EU and US are different hardware versions, do not use each other's firmware to upgrade your device."

Where can i find firmware for my exact model Archer C80(US) Ver:1.0. ?

thanks

Sri
