Hello,

I bought the Archer C24 2 days ago, the 5GHz band is working pretty well, but as it is known the 5GHz range isn't as wide as 2GHz's. So, I tried setting up the 2.4GHz band as well.

The speed is very very slow, barely 3Mbps. I previously had Huawei HG531, which is older than Archer C24, but it is doing better on 2.4GHz, tests run in the same place.

The Huawei router could easily get me 15-30Mbps in that range, while the Archer C24 is hardly getting 3Mbps. Any idea how can I improve the 2.4GHz speed for Archer C24?

Thanks.

@mkelzeer

Hello, it's quite possible that the 2.4G band around you is highly congested. You can check that by installing an app like Wi-Fi Analyzer on your phone or laptop and test, then set a channel with less congestion according to the test results on the C24.
