Model: Archer AX73
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.2

I want to use IPv4 only because when I use IPv6, I cannot access to some websites. Can anybody please tell me how to set the default protocol to IPv4?

Thank you for the reply. The tether app said the IPv6 connection type automatically detected by the provider is "V6plus". Previously, for the IPv4 connection it was PPPoE. However, when I try to change connection type to PPPoE by entering username and password, it says no internet connection. When I switch back to V6plus, I am connected to the internet again.

@oishira

Do you mean the IPv6 connection will be automatically up after you configured the internet settings on the AX73? May I know who is your ISP? Does your ISP provide a IPv6 connection also, what is the connection type for the IPv6, is it the same as the IPv4?

If you just want to disable the IPv6 connection, please go to Advanced > IPv6 page to disable it. You can refer to the User Guide for more details:

@oishira

I see. Glad to know the internet is working fine now. So this means the connection types for the IPv4 and IPv6 are different in your network, this is decided by your ISP.
