Hello,

 

i purchased Archer AX50 2 days ago, setup manual.

1- ISP router ONT ---- Archer AX50 (cat6)

2- ISP router gateway 192.168.100.1

3- Archer AX50 static IP 192.168.100.90

4- Archer AX50:

 - connected to LAN1

 - Disable DHCP

 - New SSID

 - Smart Wifi

 

everything goes great till today, wifi works fine but no internet(for a while and i should reboot device to wake it up! no Cable issue i was using TL-WR940N without any issue for long time!

 

any advices? or steps i forgot!

Here's how to configure AX50 in AP mode - Case 1.

Use the AX50 WAN port (not LAN1) to connect to the ISP router.

Set AX50 IP address outside or at the end of ISP router DHCP IP address range.

Other settings are fine, you can experiment with SmartConnect on/off to see if that suit your needs.

As I'm going to disable DHCP server in AX50!

Connect ISP router LAN port to AX50 WAN(Internet) port.

Change AX50 Operation Mode to Access Point.

If the ISP router DHCP server range is (192.168.100.2-192.168.100.99), set AX50 LAN IP address 192.168.100.100.

If you don't know what the ISP router DHCP server range is, just set AX50 LAN IP address 192.168.100.254.

Turn AX50 DHCP server off.

@terziyski thanks for your help,

 

i just do this steps in AX50

- change mode to AP

- static IP within main router range

- connect LAN >> LAN

- disable DHCP server 

 

it works great for now, hope this will fix issue permanently :-)
