Future Consideration Support for Setting Archer MR600 as a VPN Client
Hello,
So i'm having this problem with my Router Archer MR600 which i bought 6 months ago and at first i thought it supported VPN's but when i started configuring it i found out that the router itself can be setup as a OpenVPN/PPTP VPN and not as a VPN Client and this is a really big deal for me because My ISP does not provide a public ip to me and my WAN IP is a private IP and that means i cannot do any port forwarding so a VPN is my only choice but i can still port forward with a VPN thro my PC and it's no problem but the thing is that the VPN has a limited amount of devices to connect to and i want most of my home devices to be connected to a VPN and setting up a VPN on my router would allow me to do that Easily but the Archer MR600 doesn't support that and i'm very disappointed at TP-Link for their Hardware feature supporting, at first i thought the archer MR600 does support VPN's but it doesn't and i spent so much on it that i don't wanna spend more on a new router just for a VPN. and i see no reason it doesn't support being set as a VPN Client and there's no benefit for me if i set this up as a VPN server since i don't go out that much.
this would make TP-Links Routers a much Better service since the popularity of VPN's is increasing Each day and more people want to connect their router's to a VPN cause it's easier and more reliable and secure.
I'm not a Networking Expert so i'm sorry if there's something preventing this to be a option on the router
But if there's a solution please Let me know
And i hope TP-Link would release a New Firmware for VPN support
Please put this at a Top Priority if Possible
Thanks...

really, now we are in OCT 2022 and no solution.
we were going to buy 5 MR600 - but the missing VPN client is a show stopper.
we have been using primarily TP-LINK products and are not keen to learn another UI.
However, if we must, we will switch to another supplier for our network needs.
As mentioned in the countless submission, the product is for many applications useless, as the VPN server solution can simply NOT work over most modern mobile networks.
Any news? Expected firmware update?

Incredible that at the end of 2022 an LTE router can't manage VPN client feature. Will move to another vendor.

@TP-Link I would also be very interested in the VPN Client option on both operation modes (4G and wireless). Usage is to connect the routeur to the office network and be able to use various devices that need on office Network. Some of them can not even mount the VPN client and need that bridge.
I know you can do it : https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/272492
