A few questions about the TD-W8970

Hello all, I would like to ask a few questions about this particular router.
1. Does this product come with adequate firewall settings?
- After looking in the firmware emulator, the firewall section scares me. Mainly because it doesn't mention the SPI or NAT firewall. Are they enabled by default?
Is there anything similar to this setting which is found on the technicolor tg582n.

2. Does this router come with DoS protection?
-Many routers come with this feature including the technicolor tg582n which is an awful router.
Other than those questions/concerns the TD-W8970 seems like a good router for me since it uses the same lantiq chipsets BT use for their openreach fibre routers, so it should play nice with BTs equipment.

I have attached a screenshot to this reply. You can find the F/W and other settings for this router under.....

>WAN Settings
You then need to click on "Advance" (Which should say "Advanced")
The SPI F/W and NAT are enabled by default for incoming WAN traffic.
You can also use the "Firewall" section of this router to control your "outbound" traffic. By default, on this F/W, all traffic "outbound" is allowed for all hosts.
