Configure TL-WA801ND with external antenna

I have looked over this great forum, but cant find the answer to this:
I have an external antenna, which i would like to connect with the WA801ND.
Does the WA801ND then need some extra configuration ?
Which one of the antenna-connections do i use ?
And how about the other one ?
Will it improve performance to have the antenna, that comes with WA801ND connected too ? Or is that a bad idea ?
