Are you using the guest account or using the account you defined? Maybe the default guest account can do the job.

I did not find an option to create a default guest account, so I did manual, and also does not work.
Can still write to disk, despite of read only.

To be right, I didn't say that the TP-Link routers are bad, but only the firmware developers... :D

With the last WR1043ND firmware, they have been able to introduce a new bug not existing before, the same that I have on my WDR4900...

More generally, I'm thinking they are not capable to listen the customers complaints... :(

Hi, I have the opposite problem. I've enable the Read/Write option in the user account, but when i'm connecting in my ftp server I can't send or make some changes in my files.
I have the TL-WR1043ND router.
Thx.
