Firmware Version: 2.1.1 Build 20210521 rel.72300(5553)

Hi, 

I am using Router Archer AX20 with the firmware 2.1.1 Build 20210521 rel.72300(5553). Its 2.4Ghz speed is never better than 60mbps. My connection speed is 1Gbps. I am getting around 600-700 Mbps in 5Ghz but in 2.4 GHz it's maxed of 60mbps. 

 

Channel width is set as AUTO and Channel is also set as Auto. 

OFDMA: Off
Qos: Off

What can be done to improve the 2 GHz speed? I have some phones and laptops that are not yet supported with the 5Ghz. I really wonder how it can become 60mbps while my connection is rated as 1gbps.

From your screenshot it is seen that 5GHz band negotiated speed is 1.2 gbps. What's the negotiated speed for 2.4 GHz band ?

Turn OFDMA on, also if you have TWT turn it on  (that will increase your mobiles battery endurance).

Scan 2.4 GHz band around you to select less crowded channel for your 2.4GHz band and test if that will improve things.

Hi, Thanks for your reply. I have just tried ODFMA turned on and the speed max I am getting is 45mbps. here is a screenshot of the 2GHz band package connection in my apartment https://i.imgur.com/jLvin3r.jpg I am just 4 feet away from my router. I have restarted it but same result is always.

Proceed with measuring of wireless interference around you on 2.4GHz band and try what I've suggested in my previous post.

Also you can try with another wireless client to see if that happens only with a particular device or not.
