RE305 Access point mode

Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: latest

Works as a repeater, but when i switch to access point mode, I don't get any internet connection. I'm able to connect to the user interface of the AP, but unable to get a network connection. If I switch the network cable from RE305 to my computer, everything works as it should. Settings are out of the box, firmware updated to lastest version.

 

Any suggestions?

Hey @Whyasd 

Sorry for the late response, when RE works in AP mode, router connect to extender through Ethernet cable, and extender provide wireless for laptops /phones

In Range extender mode , RE wirelessly connects to router through Wi-Fi

In Acess Point Mode, RE wires to router through Ethernet cable, we have an instruction here to set RE up in AP Mode,
