Model: RE650
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.9 Build 20201112 Rel. 66232

Good morning

Yet another day of someone having this issue.

Existing hardware

Country: UK

Main router: Virgin Media Hub3 (2.4ghz on channel 11 & 5ghz on channel 44)

Wifi extender: RE650 V1

Wifi exender connects to main router on 5GHz

I have a RE650 that allows me to get Wifi to the end of my garden. This has been working fine for the last month or so.

This week I have been getting issues where I just get "Secured, no internet"

Did a factory reset on Re650 and this time rather than having same name for both 2.4 & 5ghz, I decided to have different names to troubleshoot. I can see I can connect to internet fine on 5GHz but not on 2.4 Ghz. At the back of my garden I would only get 2.4 due to distance. As mentioned on 2.4GHz it doesn't connect to internet. So I think this is the issue.

MAC filtering is active but I don't have any devices on my block list.

Any clue what could be happening? This was working fine until this week.

Things attempted:

Reboot main router (so many times)

Factory reset extender (so many times)

RE650 is already on latest firmware as far as I believe
