Model: Deco S4
Hardware Version: V7
Firmware Version: 1.5.0

Hi all,

I have the Deco S4 set up delivering my wifi at home.

I have a few a network cables plugged into the little devices, e.g. sky mini box.

I wanted to have a few more ports and was contemplating getting the TL-SG1005D switch.

Has anyone used this combo before?

Is the set up easy?

Any issues?

Thanks in advanced.

@Dips_p

I have that same switch in my house, except it is V5.0, an older one with square corners. It works just fine with Deco mesh units I have. Newer V9 should be working without issues, too.

@Alexandre. Thanks for the quick reply.

How easy was it to set up?

Was it just the case of plugging a network cable between S4 and the switch and done?

Yes, it is that simple: just connect switch by Ethernet cable to one of Deco Ethernet ports, does not matter which one.
