Model: Archer A10
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.11

I am actually using an Archer AX50 V1.0 router with 1.0.11 firmware, but it’s not in the selection in thread creation.

I have a local DHCP and DNS server set up for my home network and I would like to use it for my OpenVPN server, which is set up on the AX50 router. Most notably, I want this because of local DNS records which are set on the DNS server. However, even though the VPN-connected device shows up as a client of the DHCP server, it is not resolving the local DNS records.

@VHonza Did you ever resolve this? I'm no longer running a standalone DNS server and looking to resolve hostnames once connected to OpenVPN

@UndercoverNerd unfortunately not. I'm looking to open a port for a Raspberry Pi running Wireguard through PiVPN once I can get my hands on one.
