Is it possible to Connect Deco X60 to an existenting router or will they interfere with eachother?intallation

It is recommended to turn off WiFi on existent router after Deco mesh is deployed. Deco does not extend existent router WiFi network, it creates own WiFi network. 

 

If you keep WiFi on at existent router, it is the same as having two different standalone routers broadcasting two different WiFi networks. They will interfere with each other, also you won't be having seamless transition of WiFi devices between these two WiFi networks.
