Model: Archer A10
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.0.0 Build 20200402 rel.75473(5553)

My Archer A10 with Firmware 1.0.0 Build 20200402 rel.75473(5553) (check for upgrade says this is latest) does not retain Parental Controls configuration.

I set up a profile, add devices and some time later, lately it occurs within a day or two, the configuration is gone.

Previously it was retained for weeks but now it seems to disappear quickly.

Sort of frustrating when the schedule isn't getting applied and kid continues to have acess when not intended/expected.

(edit typo in subject)

@slabber

Hello, do you mean the profile will be deleted automatically after running for some time? If that is the case, I would suggest resetting the router to factory defaults, then reconfiguring it from scratch, set up a strong login password just in case this is modified by anyone else in your family.

thanks for reply @Kevin_Z yes, was getting deleted... I'm sure my daughter wasn't accessing, seems like was simply disappearing. I've now factory reset the device - will see how that goes.

@Kevin_Z so, after the factory reset and creating a new profile with a couple devices, schedule and time limit, it disappeared again.

Rest of configuration is retained, including SSIDs, guest network config etc.

Wondering if this is a known issue?

Are Parental Controls stored in a different memory than the rest of the wifi config?

@slabber

Is it OK to send the Parental Control setting pictures to support.forum@tp-link.com, then we can further check? Please send the picture of the Parental Control settings before and after the change happened.
