Model: Archer AX6000
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.0.3 Build 20210719 rel.18941(4555)

DHCP Client List

View the devices that are currently assigned with IP addresses by the DHCP server.

Device Name   MAC Address          Assigned IP Address Lease Time

Name

A

192.168.0.X

Permanent

Address Reservation

Reserve IP addresses for specific devices connected to the router.

Device Name MAC Address Reserved IP Address Status Modify

Name

A

192.168.0.Y

This is basically a copy-paste from my DHCP Server section of my Archer AX6000 that best describes my problem.

I can't make the device switch to address Y because its stuck being "Permanent" on address X.

How do I fix this and release the Permanent state without factory resetting my router?

@AmazingMiki

If you have set IP & MAC Binding for this device just delete the binding entry and reboot the router:

After the reboot check if everything's OK.

If this was helpful click once on the arrow pointing upward. If this solves your issue, click once the star to mark it as a "Recommended Solution".
