TL-WPA7517KIT Powerline Compatibility question with RE305

I have a Powerline setup consisting of the TL-WPA7517 kit, with a single Wi-Fi extender. The Powerline adaptor (TL-PA7017) is connected to my ISP router (non TP-Link). I still have a Wi-Fi dead spot so am looking to add another extender. Is it possible to use the RE305 as part of the Powerline network?

Is another option to just use the RE305 as an extender, and then move the current TL-WPA7517 adaptor "further" away to reach the dead spot?

Is there another preferred solution (without discarding the current kit)?

Thank you..

John
