Hello,

I just bought new router MR600 v2 and I would like to set the older MR600 v1 as wifi range extender. 

Can you help me setting the v1 and the v2?

If you want to use your old MR600 v1 as access point to extend your wireless coverage, you can follow this guide - Case 2.

The essential thing is to disable its DHCP server and put it's LAN IP address in your new MR600 v2 LAN subnet:

 

 

Given the new MR600 v2 is with LAN IP address 192.168.1.1 and DHCP server 192.168.1.100 - 192.168.1.199 (for example).

Connection between devices is LAN = > LAN port.

Wireless settings on the old MR600 v1 should be according to your needs.
