Hi recently switched to Airtel Xtreme Fibre and that has poorest range of all times.

 

I am an ameture and bought Archer C6 thinking it would be a range extender and don't know how to make it functional.

 

Please help

You can use this guide (Case 1) to configure C6 in Access Point mode - this way you can extend your wireless coverage throughout your home.
