Hi all

Hope this question is not been asked before :)

I have a few issues with the current WIFI in the house which is supplied via the ISP router and a second hard wired wireless access point upstairs, it does not work totally successfully as the wireless access points are independant and you need to reconnect the wifi when you move upstairs.

I currently have a AX10 router hard wired to my ISP router which I use as a wireless access point for my Quest 2 headset, again it has a different wifi access point.

I was wondering if I could create a "mesh" setup that I've heard so much about using the AX10 as the start point and adding some of the Deco units as secondary units.

So I would have a single WIFI SSID supported by the AX10 and the additional Deco units.

Is that possible or would I have to turn off the AX10 wifi and just use the Deco units ?

Thanks for you assistance

David

If you get a Deco system you probably won't need the AX10 at all.

Check this guide for the possible scenarios about the Deco in AP mode.

Disabling main (ISP) router wireless radio and leaving only Deco mesh will give you the seamless roaming that you're asking for.
