Model: Deco X60
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.5.1 Build 20210204 Rel. 50164

Hi. I just buyed an X60 from Amazon Spain.

I'm having a hard time setting up a static ip for the X60. I had an installation that worked perfectly for me with my old router. The idea was to replace my old router with the X60. I have a 4g router that provides internet service to the house. That 4g router has the ip 192.168.2.1. Apart from that, I needed to install the X60 with the IP 192.168.2.3 and also be the one to manage the static IPs of the other devices.

I have run into several problems:
1° there is no user manual for the configuration through the app.
2° The technical service of TP-Link Spain does not pick up the phone.
3° It does not matter what configuration I try to enter, I cannot establish the configuration as in the attached diagram.

This is the configuration I want to make:

Configurations I have tried:

1° configuration:

IPv4 > WAN >internet connection type : dynamic ip

IP LAN > IP > lan : 192.168.2.3

                    > subnet mask: 255.255.252.0

Problem: the app dont let me set subnet mask to 255.255.255.0 i got the following error message: "IP Lan adress and DNS server adress cant be in the same subnet". And i dont have internet service.

2° configuration:

IPv4 > WAN > Internet connection type > Connection type : Static ip

                                                               >IP Address: 192.168.2.3

                                                               > Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0

                                                               > Gateaway: 192.168.2.1

                                                               > Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8

                                                               > secondary DNS: 1.1.1.1

IP LAN > IP Lan: 192.168.68.1

            > net mask: 255.255.255

Problem: I have internet service but some devices are not reachable by others because they are on another network (192.168.68.XXX). And what I want is for everyone to be on 192.168.2.XXX

How can I configure my Deco so that it complies with the diagram and that all my devices are on the same network? And where can I find a user manual for the deco mobile app?

@AsturianDodo If you set it up in Access Point mode, then the router will handle all of the routing and fix your issue. The problem is that you will not be able to assign a static IP address to your X60. This is how my network is configured.

@Dave.W Thanks for answering. That can be an option, but i dont want to use it for now because i want the X60 to manage the IPs. I want to do that so I can have my internal network separate from the internet source. This way I can remove the 4G router and connect fiber or DSL when I get service without having to reconfigure my network.

Side comment: you can set static IP address for Main Deco in Access Point mode. You will need to configure static IP address for Main Deco on ISP Router to which Main Deco is connected. My router calls it DHCP Reservation, but the idea is the same: Main Deco has assigned IP address which does not change.

This is how I set static IP address for my Main Deco. You can do that for all Decos when Deco runs in Access Point mode, not just for Main Deco.
