H,

I have two TP-Link routers type MR3420. The HW versions of these routers are different. One has V2.4 and the other has V5. I use these routers witth the same USB mobile stick type Huawei E3372h-153. I plug the stick into the router before 'power on'. After 'power on' the old modell always work perfectly, but the new one often does not (status 3G/4G USB Modem: Unplugged) . In this case it is neccessary to unplug the stick and plug again. Software bug?

Hi, thank you very much for the feedback.
Do you mean the MR3420 V5 doesn't detect the USB modem no matter the USB modem is connected before or after the router powers on?
And it will work after you unplug the USB modem and plug again?

In addition, does the problem only happens when you power on the MR3420 V5 or reboot the MR3420 V5? and it happens every time?

Please save a system log file after the problem happens.

No, the issue only occurs when the modem is connected to the router before power on. In this case, the MR3420 V5 does not detect the modem. Regardless, the modem connects to the mobile operator (the LED is lit on it), but it is not reachable at the IP address 192.168.8.1 . The router detects the modem only after disconnecting and reconnecting of it. But a manual reboot from the router menu also solves the issue.

I attached the system log.

Best regards,
