Model: TL-MR6400
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version:

I just got my MR6400; I inserted my SIM card, set up the router account, and used the default settings.

Connected with Ethernet, all seems good and got around 2MB/s download (similar to my previous NetGear Nighthawk Router, with Ethernet or WiFi, this device behaves the same)

But when I connect a device through WiFi, 60% of the time, a website never loads, and several connections get interrupted and never finished, and the ones that load takes forever, less than 50Kb/s speed.

I tried two computers (Mac and Linux), both fine on Ethernet and unusable on WiFi; I tried the iPhone, and only WiFi, and also unusable.

I used the mac tool to check for other WiFi connections to check if there is any conflict with the channels, but I'm the only 2.4Ghz WiFi, and there are only three other 5Ghz in different channels without conflict there.

I'm missing something on the configuration, or have I got a defective unit?

Hi, please try to change the WiFi channel and channel width to see if the WiFi connection would be faster, for example, try to use channel 1, 6 or 11, and try to use channel width 40MHz for 2.4GHz WiFi.

In addition, may I know the hardware and firmware version of your MR6400? please check the hardware version on the bottom label of the product itself, and check firmware version on Advanced->System Tools->Firmware Upgrade page.
