Model: TL-MR100
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Hello,

I did everything I could to access 192.168.1.1 but I haven't been successful. The thing is that I'm sure the IP address is fine. The gateway is set to 192.168.1.1.  I cannot access it at all.

I reset the modem to see if it would help but it didn't. Also, I tried connecting my home-wifi modem and 192.168.1.1 just redirects me back to my main modem's panel.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Hi,

How are the "main modem" (which responds to 192.168.1.1) and the TL-MR100 connected within your network?

Hey,

I connected my home wifi modem with a LAN cable to the TL-MR100. The manual said it was supposed to work as a backup connection. I tried accessing the gateway and it does work, but it's the main modem that responds. I haven't been able to access the TPLink control panel yet.

Hi,

FIrst. If there is already another device that has the IP address 192.168.1.1 within your home network (the "main modem"), then the TL-MR100 cannot have the same IP address 192.168.1.1 as well.

Second. It is still not clear to me how the devices in your home network are connected to each other. Is it like in the picture I have drawn below? If not, can you please modify the drawing to show us you actual network setup?
