PCI Network adaptor keeps disconnecting from the Internet for a few seconds every minute
Hello,
I recently purchased a PCI Network adaptor as the Ethernet port on my motherboard died.
tp-link Gigabit PCI Express Network Adaptor.
Model TG-3468 (UN) Version 4.0
Between installing my PCI Network adaptor and the motherboard port going dead I have used a USB adaptor for eithernet,
A Dell usb-c da300 mobile adapter running though a USB type C to Type A adaptor.
My connection with the USB adaptor has been perfect and not dropping. Here’s an example of me pinging google.co.uk on it:
Pinging www.google.co.uk [142.250.179.227] with 32 bytes of data:

However on my tp-link PCI Express Network Adaptor this drops. Here's an example of me pinging google.co.uk on that:

This drops out at once a minutes for a few seconds.
Note, my Computers shows the connection as completely lost. The network icon in the bottom right changed to a wireframe globe.
I am running Windows 10 Home 64 bit
I have installed Windows 10 64 bit drivers "TG-3468_V4_200919_win10_win11" manually via Device Manager and restarted.
Drivers found here:
https://www.tp-link.com/uk/support/download/tg-3468/
https://static.tp-link.com/2020/202010/20201029/TG-3468_V4_200919_win10.zip
However issue still continues
I have also opened my PC up and made sure this PCI card is inserted correctly and fully.
No change.
No errors in Device Manager
When connection drops, no errors in Event Viewer are created.
I have checked any my Windows is up to date, which it is.
I do not have any another connection method attached that could be conflicting. My computer has no Wifi or Mobile Date for example or multiple Ethernet cables connected.
I have also tried:
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /release && /renew
Currently I have gone back to my USB C adaptor going through a USB C to type A adaptor as this is functioning better.
Any Ideas?
Many Thanks,
