Model: Deco X68
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.0 Build 20220530 Rel. 38490

I have 3 X68's set up in a relatively straight line. The main one being in the main house kitchen. The second one in a small granny flat. Then the third one in a second and furthest granny flat.

Main --> Satellite 1 --> Satellite 2

Satellite 2 connects to the Main instead of Satellite 1 which is physically closer.

How do I force Satellite 2 to connect to Satellite 1 instead of the Main?

You can do it on the M series

But I guess this important feature is still not present in the X series? frown

  @CVonC

This feature is available in Deco X50 and X55. Not in X68, yet.

With Deco X68, the way to force Satellite 2 to connect to Satellite 1 is to position Main and Satellite 2 as far from each other as possible. If WiFi backhaul signal between Satellite 2 and Main is Weak already (check that in Deco app), moving them further away from each other may weaken it to the point Satellite 2 can't connect to Main and will be forced to connect to Satellite 1 instead.

  @Alexandre.

I physically cannot move the satellite further away from the main router.

They need to fix it in all Decos! Such an fundamental setting that needs to be available!
