Hi

 

Just installed the X73-DSL today and all seems to be working.

However, when look in the system log in the web interface, I seem to be getting many critical errors and warnings every few seconds.

Eg.

 

Critical errors:

Warnings:

Thu Dec 29 21:29:15 2022 daemon.err nrd[7372]: triggerMonSteering: Failed to get uplink rssi for 38:A6:CE:0F:FE:66

Thu Dec 29 21:29:17 2022 daemon.err nrd[7372]: ar_pat_calc_cand_datarate[line 627]: No enough AP info exists

Should I be concerned? If so, what can be done to stop these from occurring.

I think there is no need for further concern. Have you noticed any performance issues on the Deco X73-DSL so far?

Hi David.

No, not noticed anything untoward as yet. Just concerning as to why I'm getting "critical" errors every few seconds.

  @Hawkerpaul Thank you for the update.

Most of the system logs are for software developers. To fully make sure of memory usage, new logs would repeatedly cover the stock one so they hardly tell something about the network performance. Normally if needed, the engineers would provide a special debug firmware to help record the logs during the network crash. Usually for normal troubleshooting, more attention would be drawn to the device's behaviors.
