Model: Deco M9 Plus
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.51

Just switched my broadband connection from 4G to fiber (with 500mbit transfer limit) and wanted to use my M9 mash network in router mode. When doing this I'm getting performance issues as below picture.

* in router mode the M9 can do it's internal speedtest and get good results, but all connected devices ends up in at most 15bit/s

* when placing my old asus router as router and connecting the M9 network as AP mode then I get performance on all connected devices.

Anyone knows what's causing this? I would like to run the system without the asus router in the architecture...

In cases like this the first recommendation is to check the value of QoS parameter and, for your speeds, to set its Download and Upload values each to 800Mbps-900Mbps. See How to set up QoS on the Deco

When you are doing the speedtest on the Deco, are you plugged straight into the main deco?  or wireless via a node?   Also what device are you testing on and what is the connection type? (cabled in or wifi, if so what speed)

@Philbert The "deco internal" speed test is done via the app, and that always gives me the correct speed. The other 15mbit/s results on all clients are done via ethetnet (1gb) on main Deco or via phone or computer connected via wifi, same result. When in Router mode I can do test between wireless clients and the computer connected to main deco and get 350-400mbit/s "locally" but as soon as I try to reach the internet in Router mode, I only get 15 mbit however I try.

@Alexandre. thanks, you pointed me in the right direction and i found the sollution, it as QoS tab and I must have focused on that I didn't have any device configured and totally missed the limits that for some reason I cant understand was set to 15mbit. Anyhow, Now I'm running in expected speeds and can throw away my Asus router in between.
