Model: Archer AX73
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.2.1

Hi,

I have an Archer AX5400, model AX73.  It is my main router.

I am trying to use another TPLink AC1750 as a WDS bridge, so that I can use the ports on that as a wired connection.

INTERNET -----  AX73 ~~~~~Wifi~~~~~ AC1750 ----- Wired ports

Is this supported?

Do I need to configure anything on the AX73 side?

Thank you

  @ghane0

WDS should be configured only on the extended router (not on your main router) - here's a guide for that.

However AX series routers have been notorious about building a WDS with. Use the guide to configure AC1750 and check if it's successful.

If this was helpful click on the arrow pointing upward to make it blue. If this solves your issue, click the star to make it blue and mark the post as a "Recommended Solution".

  @terziyski , thank you.

It worked.  I upgraded the firmware on the AC1750, and the guide told me exactly where the option was hidden.

Working now, and thank you again.
