Hello, I'm trying to find an answer to this question:

Is it possible to use my main router's wifi signal having decor m4 plugged into this network? Is it possible to have main router as a part of mesh system?

I bought 2pcs of deco m4 and now I'm looking to buy a new router wifi v6. But I wonder if I can use the signal from this router too (not just from decor m4 - which will be connected with cable to this router). I don't know how to find out if is it possible, or not (if it is possible) which router can be the main/core part of this mesh network.

In other words: I want to have access to internet from all deco m4 and my router too.

Deco mesh runs its own WiFi network that is only compatible with Deco units.

If your new router WiFi6 is Deco unit, it'll run together with Deco M4. For example, if you buy single Deco X50 and make it Main Deco.

If you are buying non-Deco router, it won't be the main/core part of mesh network.

The Deco x50 has 3 ports. Does it mean that I can plug the Internet from the provider to one another and use two as an extension for my m4?

Also, if you are considering buying Deco X50, it makes sense to add it as a Satellite and after that promote it to Main Deco. By doing that, you'll preserve all current Deco mesh configuration settings. See Changing the Main Unit for your Mesh Network
