Frequent 'Dropped Packet' entries in router log
Getting frequent burst of 'Dropped Packet' entries in my router log from the PC that is connected by this device. Mainly Port 80 but also 443 and 4445. Any thoughts?

Hi, is the laptop connected to 8630P by WiFi or via Ethernet cable?
Have you noticed any network performance issues on the PC when the 'Dropped Packet' entries kept generating in the router logs?
How about other clients that are connected to 8630P? will they generate the same log on the router?
Thank you very much.
Best regards.

@David-TP It is a desktop that is connected to the 8630P by Ethernet. No performance issues. There are other 'dropped packet' notifications originating from other IP addresses which are connected by wi-fi to the 8630, and from devices connected to a TL-PA7027P by Ethernet. From just typing this out it now seems obvious that the problem (if there is one) lies with the adapter to which the router is connected, (a TL-PA8010P) rather than the 8630.

Dropped packets now from mobile connected by wi-fi directly to router and not using wi-fi extender so clearly not a TP-Link issue.
