Model: Deco XE75 Pro
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: V1_1.0.3 Build 20230302

I have a 1GB fiber connection on the lines and gets a constant 940
I purchased 2 XE75 PRO units, the WIFI speed is very slow and unstable, the speed I got the most is 700 MB/s, which is not bad, but it is still unstable
I usually get 500-600 MB/s. I check on an iPhone 14 Pro Max
One satellite is connected by a network cable
I think there is a problem with the WIFI channels, it is locked on an unstable channel
In my understanding iPhone 14 Pro Max does not support 160MHZ
When I set it to 160MHZ the WIFI is not stable at all so I put it on 80MHZ
Please help me understand where the problem is feeling a bit disappointed with the device XE75 PRO

  @Avrahm

Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback.

May I know the current wireless channel for 5ghz of Deco XE75 Pro?

After setting 80mhz, did the wireless speed on the iPhone 14 Pro Max get more stable?

Except for iPhone 14 Pro Max, have you tested the wireless speed on another mobile client?

Wait for your reply.

best regards.

David-TP

The 5GHZ Wi-Fi channel is locked to 40 I tried on another iPhone the same problem and also the MACBOOK PRO M1 same speed The WiFi signal feels unstable When I turn off the DECO again, I see that it is locked on channel 48 and I manage to get a speed of 700MB on the iPhone, which is a lot for me and also feels stable, but after 2 minutes it returns to channel 40 and then problems begin, it reaches a speed of 300\400\500 and it is unstable 340 falls to 500 I checked the channels in my area and I get on channel 40 which is a bad channel I don't understand why the device is locked on channel 40 when it is a busy channel in my area

After I set 160 MHZ the Wi-Fi network is unstable
After I download to 80MHZ the network is stable

Indicates DECO XE75 PRO is in access point mode

  @Avrahm same issue of sorts just happened to me. Everything has been working well and all of sudden everything is unstable and slow. My apple products have little to no speed. Provider checked on there end to house and everything checks out. Not sure what happened all of sudden. I suspect it has something to do with the auto channel selection.

  @David-TP   Why is 5GHZ-2 WIRELESS turned off?
It could be that the problem is not being able to get over 500 megabytes on the iPhone 14 Pro Max
DECO XE75 PRO Bad product This will be the last time I purchase a TPLINK product

  @Avrahm

Upgraded my Deco M9s 3 pack to XE75 pro 3 pack to go with my gigabit Fiber  connection and having large buyers remorse over getting the XE75 Pro. Generally underwhelmed with the raw speed of wifi  when connecting to the main deco which is hardwired to the modem router  with cat 7 cable using the 2.5gb socket.

Wired into the deco - (ethernet laptop ) its maxes my connection but wireless standing next to main deco clear line of sight the fastest speed i have seen is around 600mbs. I really should be maxing this when using a laptop a Intel AX200 160 htz wifi 6 card or a iPhone 13 pro max about the same.

Still have few more weeks with amazon for returns so tempted to swap with the Asus XT9 or similar.

TP link seem to be very very slow in pushing out software updates to the decos which I feel needs to improve Wi-Fi speeds .

Just to reiterate the Wi-Fi coverage is very good throughout the house but expecting better Wi-Fi from at least the main deco with a modern device .

  @David-TP

This product Deco XE75 Pro US 1.6 disappoints me I expected more WIFI speed since it also chooses the densest channels which affects the speed and stability
I also checked the first firmware V1_1.0.1 Build 20220628 works more stable than the new firmware V1_1.0.3 Build 20230302
I no longer know what to do to give up TPLINK products
If they don't find a solution for this product there is no point in others purchasing it it does not provide the data for the rest of my life I would purchase DECO products now I will start looking at alternatives

The engineers do nothing about this product, they failed
The main thing is that you find new products even though DECO XE75 PRO is a new product
Please take care of the problems

  @Avrahm

On my XE75 Pro if enable the 160 MHz option ( Recommended in app for best performance )  Wi-Fi settings ,Advanced, Channel width for 5 GHz the network downgrades back to 80 MHz few times a week due to radar signals and the whole system get unstable for a while.

Will see if new firmware fixes this but looking at the support pages for various devices in the Deco range there are a number of months before anything will be released.

Same thing with deco x55 bought in april, cant switch to 160mhz and speed becomes limited to 200mbps with my 1gps fiber connection. Very poor product support and no clear updates to resolve the issue.

Stay away until they fix this.
