Hi,

 

My friend has given me her TD-W8960N router and I have connected it to my landlord's internet via the LAN cable - The power light, WiFi light and LAN light are all steady. I can pick up the router on my Laptop and cell phone but the password that was set for it is not working. How do I reset the password?

 

I have also followed every bit of advice from the pamphlet to the app and even my MacBook's troubleshooting - still no luck.

 

Can anyone assist me?

Hi, do you mean the wireless password on the TD-W8960N?

If yes, you could factory reset TD-W8960N by holding the reset pinhole for 10s. Then the default wireless password is printed on the product label, 8 numbers.
