Unable to save port forwarding
Unable to save port forwarding
No idea why, but I can't save a port forwarding rule.
Running latest firmware and so on.
I go to Advanced > NAT forwarding > Port forwarding.
There I enter a rule. But when I choose/select an internal IP from the list, I am unable to proceed: the 'Ready' button on the top right does nothing.
Any ideas? I tried rebooting but no luck...

Thank you very much.
The APP log has been received and will be forwarded to the engineers for further assistance.
I also installed the same 3.3.42 on the iPhone and everything seems fine when adding the port forwarding profiles.
Thanks again.
best regards.

@David-TP morning. Yes I run the duckdns so that I can access the HomeAssistant from the internet remotely to control my lights, geysers and other home automation.
Previously as a test I did actually expand the dhcp range to allocate IP's from 192.168.x.5 to 192.168.x.250 the 192.168.x.10 doesn't appear in the list as to reserve. It's still set like that now but I can't see the ip and MAC address.

But that's very strange that you're doing it. In the video it is easy to see that I also use the beta version and unfortunately it doesn't work with it
maybe this info is also important: I use a Deco X50 Firmware-Version: 1.2.2 Build 20230301 Rel. 53300

Yes, personally, I agree that it may be model related since I have Deco X68. And I did see similar feedback about Deco X50-v1-1.2.2 from other support channels earlier today. but he is still on 3.3.41 and I am waiting for his test results after updating to 3.3.42.
Thank you very much.
best regards.

Morning all, as an FYI. I deleted the deco app from my iPhone 12 pro, rebooted it and re-installed and after that I was able to save the port forwarding. Give it a bash!!!
I'm still having the other issues with the duckDNS etc. that may be related to my ISP usiong CGNAT which I'm looking into.
Thanks Brett

@Mikkelnl Hi
For me removing the app, rebooting my iPhone and re-installing the app resolved the issue.
I also found out that my Fibre ISP placed me inside a CG-Nat which caused my port forwarding to fail.
If you are running a VM and the NIC in bridged mode and you need to setup reservations or port forwarding, you need to set the bridged network adapter of the VM to promiscuous mode. You may also need to create a custom reservation in the Deco app with the MAC address of the VM because it doesn't seem to pickup the mac address of the VM in hte app. I'm not sure if that is a bug in the app or not.
