Hello, how does it possible that the "block" command and the "time limits" work via the range extender on the parental control tab, but the "bedtime" & "off time" settings do not? Is it a simple program-code error??

Hi, Is the parental control settings configured on your main router? please connect the same client device to your router Wi-Fi directly to see if bedtime and off time works fine.

Besides, when the client device is connected to range extender, please check if the client device mac address displayed on the router client list is the same as that used to configure parental control or not.

By the way, what is the model number of your main router? Please make sure the router and extender system time are both correct.

Hello, 1st thanks for your reply.

Yes, the parental settings configured on the router. (Archer AX73 V1 latest fw with Re505x v2 latest fw).

I have checked many times the client list on th RE and on the router aswell. If the devices connected directly to the router every parental settings work, if the devices connected to the RE only the block/reward and the time limit work, Bed time and Off time do not.

The system times for both devices syncronized and match with all of devices local time as well from the beginning. Btw, I cancelled my subscription for HomeshieldPro today. It is too expensive for a non-usable parental control feature. (It was the original aim when I bought this system). Now I use only the block/reward commands to control my kids devices, at least it works with the RE.

Hi, would you please continue to troubleshoot with us to locate the issue? If so, please provide the following details:

1. Is the OneMesh enabled for the router and extender? if not, is the extended network name the same as the router or not?

2. Even though you have canceled the Homeshield pro, bedtime should still be available, please configure bedtime and check if it works via extended network.

3. If bedtime still doesn't work via extended network but works fine via router network, please provide firmware version of the router and extender, we will escalate your case to senior engineer.

Hello, I appreciate you to work on the issue.

1.,yes I use Onemesh, the SSID are the same on both devices

2. I suprised, because when I unsubscribed the parental control features disappeared from the app. But just for the kids. For me and for my wife it is still working. For the kids, the app requires subscribe to HomeshieldPro again. I did not till now.

Hi, the kids device doesn't have any parental control options or just no bedtime option?

And if kids device is already in an parental control profile, please edit the existing profile to see if you could see bedtime. If there is still any problem, please share with us some screenshots.

By the way, for your and your wife device, if you configure bedtime for them for testing purpose, is the bedtime working fine via extended network?

Test1 with Mom's device (connected to the RE):

- BLOCK command works perfectly.

 - UNBLOCK command works perfectly.

Test2 with Mom's device (connected to the RE)

- Bed time configured (pic attached), result is that the bed time settings doesn't work. The device is still online with live internet connection.

Test3 same like test1, results are the same.

(One comment, the weekdays and weekends configurations are still alive after I have already unsubscribed HomeshieldPro. Is it okay? If I remember well, when I first time installed the app there was no separated days for the configuration, but maybe I'm wrong.)
