Model: TL-WA850RE
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.25

I cannot get my extender to connect to my router. I can connect to the extender, but no internet access. I have reset both several times but various pages keep telling me to enter things on the extender. Am I missing something, it's just a plug in thing on the wall. Used to work with Tether OK but not anymore

Not sure if this is because I got a new router a while ago, so possibly never worked since. This is only for connecting mobiles to it, not computers. Says my password is wrong, well I've never entered one and it doesn't give me chance to. Sorry if this is a really dim question but any help gratefully received.

  @BlueVanMan

Hi, are you still able to see and connect to the extender WiFi? If so, please check if you are still able to login the extender web interface via tplinkrepeater.net, if it doesn't work, or you can see the login page but password is incorrect, please try admin in lower case, if it still doesn't work, please reset the extender to factory defaults by holding the reset button/hole until the power LED starts flashing.

After the factory reset, please refer to the instructions below to configure it:
Via Tether App: https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/1373/

Via Web interface: https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/1400/

If there is still any problem, please share with me details of the problem and LED status on the extender.
