Model: TL-SG105
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version:

Good afternoon,
I'm having internet speed problems on my television, I did a speedtest and I noticed that on the television I only have 40mbps, while on the computer I have 500mbps.
I have a TL-SG105S V3 switch, with only the computer and television on.
I think that at the time my internet operator configured the switch in relation to the speed of the switch ports.
I tried to access the router's web interface via ip 192.168.0.1 but I can't even access the page.
What can I do to acess the page?
And how do I increase the speed of switch port 3?

Thanks.

Greetings,

Bruno

TL-SG105S V3 is an unmanaged gigabit switch, i.e. its ports speed is auto negotiated.

There's two possibilities in your case:

1. Your TV LAN port is 100 mb capable only - hence the speed of 40 mbps.

2. Your TV LAN port is 1000 mbps capable, but the switch port negotiated 100 mbps - you should change the ethernet cable (between TV and switch) with another one with good quality, which is CAT 5E/6 branded and test again.

  @terziyski Thanks for helping.

I tried a different cable, its the same. I think my TV LAN port is only 100mb capable like you said, i will buy a gigabit ethernet to usb 2.0 and try it.

I will let you guys know if it worked.

Greetings
