Model: TD-W8961N

Hardware Version: V1

Firmware Version: FwVer:3.10.2.60_TC3085

I have a TD-8816 DSL MODEM it is not shown in your model list and I am unsure what the hardware version is when I look at the TP-link site https://www.tp-link.com/ca/support/download/td-8816/#Firmware shows v1 through v8

The DSL MODEM information is FwVer:3.10.2.60_TC3085 HwVer:T14.F7_3.0. I would like to know if the current firmware is the latest

1.0.2 Build 080505 Rel.50739

Look at the bottom sticker of the device to find its HW version. According to that HW version you could see which is the latest FW release for the device.

@terziyski The sticker has no hardware version, only Ver 1.1 model and serial

the exact model is TD-8816(a)

That means your HW version is "1".

"Please verify the hardware version of your device for the firmware version. Wrong firmware upgrade may damage your device and void the warranty. (Normally Vx.0=Vx.6/Vx.8 (eg:V1.0=V1.6/V1.8); Vx.x0=Vx.x6/Vx.x8 (eg:V1.20=V1.26/V1.28)
