Model: Deco XE75   Deco M5
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Hi,

I have had my deco M5 system for 5+ years now and after moving a bigger home, I decided to upgrade to xe75 to get us better coverage.

Is there a way to migrate my existing network with 20+ devices and settings to the new hardware.

I tried what was suggested in this topic - https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/547314 but I am not able to add the XE75 as a satellite on my Deco M5 network.

I just get a Deco not found error message.

It is asking me to create a new network, which means I have to create a new SSID and password and upgrade all my 20+ IoT devices which is a pain in ***.

Since all the information is already there, do we have a good way to just migrate everything to the new hardware - what other options do I have. Please can someone help.

@tprv I just added a new unit via the app on my xe 75's, repated until all new ones were done and then eventually switched Main to an xe 75, and disconnected all the m5's worked ok for me.
