Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: V1.6

My unit does not recognise the local password as provided. I have confirmed the same number is written on the base as the piece of paper provided. I am using an ethernet cable to get my laptop to talk to the router. I have tried to reset the router and repeat the steps to no avail how does this work???

Upon reset the router WebGUI password should be the default - "admin".

The passwords on the bottom sticker are the wireless passwords, which you don't use in your case (laptop connected with an ethernet cable) - watch this video guide.
