Hi,

Try this driver: https://github.com/lwfinger/rtl8852au

Works fine with my rtl8832au AX1800 USB wireless adapter on Linux Mint, which is also based on Ubuntu. Currently on kernel version 5.19.

hi mate!! ok so the good news is that i tried it and now it does recocgnise the adapter and it does finds connections. But when i type my passw( its correct ive checked a lot of times) on my wifi(this is too) it doesnt connect. It shows the process of conection but it crashes. And its showing two tp link devices( maybe cause of the two antennas?) so now what? did i execute something wrong?

Is your computer that is runing the Pop OS based on AMD or Intel CPU and chipset?

With early driver versions these USB Wi-Fi adapters with RTL8832AU/BU and RTL8852AU/BU chips used to have massive problems when connected to USB 3.x ports of AMD-based computers.

Newer driver versions for Windows have improved substantially on this, but it seems Realtek stopped developing the Linux driver further after 2021.

If the above was the case for you, then plug the Archer TX20U Plus in an USB 2.0 port and check whether it works any better that way. (of course it will be slower, but maybe at least stable)

By the way, does 'nmcli' show the adapter twice as well?
