You could disable "beamforming" under Deco APP>More>Advanced.

Then I am a little confused about the following content:

In particular, Android software will no longer signify a node's good reputation on the Internet, nor will the "blue/green light" at the top. If a signaling node restarts, the rest of your MESH network may also remain offline until you take drastic action such as resetting the nodes. There doesn't seem to be a proper way to get information if you've chosen a fine-grained area for your node. There appears to be little or no benefit to maintaining perfect straps.

Can you give me some examples of what issues you have with Deco? Maybe it would help to better understand the detailed problem.
