Deco X50-5G loses internet connection
Hi!
About a month ago I bought a Deco X50-5G mesh router.
I get great connection and speed up to 400-500Mbit/s certain times in the day. Most often about 50-170Mbit/s. I love it!
But a couple of times each day (often 1-3 times a day) it loses the internet connection. after a reboot it works again.
I have the same mobile internet on my and my wifes phones, and they work. So it should not be any problem with the operator (Telia, Sweden).
We have 2 external antennas to boost the coverage.
What could be wrong?
Best Regards
Niklas

I have the same issue in London, reloading helping, sometimes it is needed once a week, other every day. The other thing I have sometimes it feels like router limits number of devices I can connect to it what is super weird

@Geeklas I have the same problem here in Manila. I was using the X10 mesh (3 units) and when I added the X50 5G as the main, they all start to intermittently restart and disconnected. It happens almost every 30 mins. I have Smart 5G on the sim tray. I tried to switch off 5G and used the wired connection in the X50 but same thing happens.
I have the X10 mesh stable before that. I reverted to that set up and the x10 works fine in wired connection.
Now the x50 lies on my table unplugged, without purpose. It is a pity because I always want to have a 5G as my main connection due to higher bandwidth than our LAN. Is there any workaround so far?
Regards,
Erik

Just to add to this. At the stroke of midnight, every night, I lose connection to the internet (vodafone) and need to reboot the system.
It states it is still connected to the internet in the app, but I can't access the outside world on any connected device.

Same problem here in Greece as well
On 5g Mode, mode the x50 5g is unstable with continuous deconnections and quite a latency.
For mew in 4g mode it works without major disconections. But we didn't really buy it as a 4g Lte really, right?

I have the same issue in Taiwan,
In the 5G mode (ISP: Chunghwa Telecom) , The internet disconnect randomly, the status led shows RED light. But sometimes even in blue light status, the network also untouchable...

I don't have problem with the red light coming on, the connection is just unstable. What I did notice tho is that you can't see it from the deco app, but in browser it shows that the cpu load of the x50 5g shoots up to 100% quite often.

@Geeklas I have had a combination of the various issues being posted on this thread. I'm based in NW London, using a Smarty (Three Network) SIM and have recently installed and external antenna (Poynting XPOL-1 V2) to stabilise my signal. Generally I get a consistent 60-150Mbps, with it getting as high as 490Mbps in the early hours. I have experienced on several occasions a 'No Internet' message when connected to the router (with a static white light) with my phone, but when connected to one of my extenders, I can receive the internet, this makes little sense to me. No internet when directly connected, via wifi, to the router, but an extender that is connected to the router will allow access to the internet. A reboot resolves the issue.
I have also woken up to a static red light, where I was unable to connect through the app, but a removal of power (hard reboot) had the router working fine after a couple of minutes. I have initialised a return to Amazon, as this is my last day able to do so. As there appears to be others having similar problems, I think I'll need to look for an alternative.

@Geeklas Hi, same problem here in Italy (5G TIM carrier), I've also noticed that the CPU load, most of the time reaches always 100%.
Memory usage alway more than 60%. I have a TP-Link mesh system with 5 Deco XE75 (big house with thick walls).
I'm considering an Amazon return.... :-(
