I have several Sonos speakers. Due to my house being small but having ridiculously thick walls I have to use a TP link extender. My set up is as follows:

- Speaker 1 to my Plusnet router via ethernet

- Speaker 2 attached to the TPLink by ethernet

- speaker 3 connected to TP Link by Wifi

- Speaker 4 connected to Plusnet via Wifi

I have some issues when switching from the TP Link wifi to the Plusnet wifi and sometimes I lose a device. Please could you advise the best way to set up the system? Should I remove all ethernet connections? I have set the TP Link to be the same name and password as the Plusnet wifi but i still seem to switch from one to the other.

Thank you!

Hi,Sonos devices can communicate with each other through Sonosnet, you could try speaker 1 connects to the plusnet router, and then 2+3+4  pair to 1.

you can refer to this thread(https://community.tp-link.com/home/stories/detail/500290)

@Applejack Thanks - that link unfortunately doesn't lead anywhere, but I have done some googling and it seems they're all set up. The kitchen one is the one which seems to fall off the network. To reconnect it should I move it closer to the one which is plugged into the router? It's not exactly far away but I know these things can be sensitive.

Hi,sorry I mistyped the URL, this is the correct URL  https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/stories/detail/500290

you may also go to sonos website to get help (Connection Issues | Sonos)

suggest you keep the device as closer as possible to connect, make sure they connect successfully then you could move it away
