I think you can but you need to download some app that can support Samba server like ES File Explorer, remote file,etc.

I agree. And I think, depending on the app, you have to point to the IP address of the TP-Link router to help the app find the USB storage.

I have not been able to get es file explorer to connect to the usb drives at all through this router.
There were about 6 different ways I tried and almost all of them said the drive couldn't be found or did not exist.
I wish I could find a way to connect with my Galaxy S3 that didn't mean setting up the ftp client and using the Internet.
Anyone have any luck connecting with smart phones or tablets?
If tp-link made an android app for it I would be massively happy.
