Phones keep reconnecting
Hi everyone,
Main problem: seems like android phones keep reconnecting to WiFi, for example I am sitting in living room and phone keep disconnecting and reconnecting. iOS devices seems fine, didn't notice this problem on my iPhone.
Wi-Fi setup: I have easy mesh setup, my main router is Archer AX72 and my second router which acts as AP is Archer AX23, both run on the newest available firmware. I separated 2.4GHz and 5GHz... 2.4 runs on WPA2/WPA3, 20/40 MHz, channel 11... 5GHz runs WPA3, 20/40/80/160 MHz, channel 36 and MU-MIMO enabled.
Aproximately 10-15 clients are on wifi.
Recently I invited a technician to check my optics, but everything is fine. Ethernet is fine. Only WiFi seems off. Any suggestions whats wrong?
Thanks kindly

Hi, thank you very much for posting on TP-Link Community.
1. May I know if the 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi name are the same or not? and the issue happens when connected to 2.4GHz or 5GHz WiFi? or it is actually always switching between different bands automatically?
2. Does the issue happen in a specific area? such as the living room only? and the Andriod phones are closer to AX72 or AX23? if you are next to either device, will the issue also happen?
By the way, did you try to leave the same settings for both 2.4G and 5G WiFi? and is the smart connect enabled?

Hi,
1.) Name is different and it happens on both.
2.) I noticed it happening only in living room and one of the bedrooms. I cant say precisely to which device phones are closer, but Im leaning more to the AX72.
AX72 was actually in warranty claim because of this and they gave me a brand new one. Before the warranty claim procedure was done I was running solely on AX23 and there was no problem with WiFi.
Yeah I tried same settings, smart connect is disabled

Hi, we would like to escalate your case to the support engineers, and they will help follow it up, if you are willing to do further analysis, please check your inbox and respond.
By the way, if you turn off the AX23, only leave the AX72 on, will the issue still exist?

Ok, thanks a lot!
The main reason I bought AX23 was because of this issue. I thought there is a problem with signal...
