Model: Deco X50
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: last

Impossible to setup

Previously worked perfectly in same network in previous home office

Here a real mess :

- blinking blue then steady blue then… red

- network is visible in Wifi settings but Deco doesn't connect because iPhone 14 Pro is indfinitely trying to connect, but Deco goes red after 20 seconds…

 - reboot modem + Deco 15 times

Infuriatingly lost 2 hours !!!

@Quantz Finally went to fixed green, apparently setup succeeded, then back to red.

Retried to locate and connect Deco, back to blinking blue, then red.

Losing my *** time here, TP-Link…

  @Quantz

Hi, Thank you very much for your feedback.

When Deco was red, would you get any IP address under Deco APP>More>Internet Connection>IPV4?

If there is a valid IP address, please refer to this link to change the IPV4 DNS to 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4.

How to change DNS server settings on my Deco

If there is no IP address, or the IP is 0.0.0.0, have you tried to unplug Deco and connect a laptop to the ISP mode to check whether there is any internet connection on the computer?

After that, you could refer to this link to clone the PC MAC address on Deco:

How to Configure MAC Clone on Deco if Deco fails to connect to the internet

Wait for your reply and best regards.
